See? It’s already generating some long-tail keywords. Yes, they may not be good to get you an idea of a title, but that’s why most of us search multiple times before we get the best results.

As Buzzsumo results showed, 6 out of the most shared articles contained numbers. Indeed, using them in titles is a technique that has been known to increase click-through rates, so try it is certainly a must.
Since there are lots of numbers out there, you may be wondering what ones perform the best. I’ve got an answer to that. According to this article on Venngage, the best numbers to use include are 10, 5, and 25.
These findings are supported by the aforementioned Buzzsumo study. The top two best-performing numbers found by that research were also 10 and 5, followed by 15 and 7.
On the other hand, the worst-performing number was, perhaps surprisingly, two. According to the research, it had only 5 percent of median shares; take a look at the full data in the image below.
The numbers make the title appear easier to consume, so try including some in yours.
4. Address Your Readers Directly
Please take a look at the best-performing phrases from the Buzzumo study. You’ll notice that two phrases in the top 10 speak to readers directly (X Things You…, Why You Should…).
